I had a booking after 17th December...

If you have made a booking from December 17th onwards, please be aware that your booking has been automatically cancelled, and you will not be charged the cancellation fee. All guests who provided us with their email address have been contacted. If you made a booking during this period but haven’t yet heard from us or have any other questions, feel free to contact us via Instagram at @BusseyRooftopBar

Do I need ID to enter?

We operate a Challenge 25 policy on the rooftop, so if you’re lucky enough to look under 25 years old, you will be asked to show your ID. Acceptable forms of ID to prove you are over 18 include a photo driving licence, a passport, a proof of age card, such as the PASS card from the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme.

Can under 18s enter?

Children under 18 years of age are welcome on the rooftop before 5pm. To adhere to social distancing guidelines, we kindly ask that you ensure all children remain seated at the table during your visit. Please note that high chairs are not available.

How can I contact you?

Please email us at

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are always welcome at Bussey #Wooftop Bar (see what we did there?)! To adhere to social distancing guidelines, we kindly ask that you ensure your pooch remains on a lead at all times and does not disrupt other guests.

What hours are you open?

From 12th April 2020

Monday – Friday: 5pm – 11pm

Saturday – Sunday: 12pm – 11pm

Will I be charged if I cancel, am late, or don’t show up for my booking?

Your card details will be required to complete your booking but you will not be charged — however, if you don’t show up, are more than 30 minutes late, or cancel your booking with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged a non-refundable fee of £5 per person. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your booking time.

Is there wheelchair access/a lift?

Yes! If you need the lift to go straight to the top, please let a member of staff know and we will assist you, otherwise, you can get out on the floor just below and head up the short final flight.

Is there bike storage?

There are bike hoops covered by security cameras downstairs. Alternatively, Cycle Hub offers secure and covered parking, and locks at midnight (so your bike is safe overnight). You’ll find it next to Peckham Rye Station.

What safety precautions are in place in light of COVID-19?

Your safety is of the utmost importance to us at Bussey Rooftop Bar and we’ve implemented a few new procedures to ensure your safety during this time.

Bussey Rooftop Bar is a (covered) OUTDOOR venue that already adheres to the rule of 6. Under the recent Tier 2 conditions, we can continue to operate in our current format. Cheers to that!

– We are operating with a reduced capacity, allowing for appropriate social distancing on the rooftop. Following new government rules effective Monday 14th September, we are unable to accommodate group bookings or corporate parties of more than 6 people.
– Staff will be provided with appropriate PPE and will be required to wash their hands regularly.
– All tables, chairs and high-contact areas will be thoroughly sanitised between each and every booking.
– We will provide contactless service, with food and drinks delivered via trays and empty cups collected via provided baskets on each table, ensuring a contactless experience for everyone.
– We are offering a fully seated and fully hosted experience, so the bar will be closed to the public. Food and drink orders can be made via a web app to maximise your time with your loved ones and avoid the queues!
– Multiple sanitation stations will be available to staff and guests.
– We are closely following government advice and will adapt the rooftop to ensure we are following official guidelines at all times.

Those are just some of the measures we’re taking to make the rooftop even safer this year. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch: or 07761134946

Can I book a table for my party?

You can book tables for at designated times on the booking page. Please note that in order to manage congestion on the stairwell and at the check-in point, your whole group must be present on the ground floor before being permitted up to the rooftop.

Can I make a large group booking across two or more tables?

From Monday 14th September, social gatherings of more than 6 people are banned in England. In light of this regulation, we are unable to accommodate group bookings of more than 6 people — this includes seating two tables next to each other. We support these new policies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and our staff, which remains our number one priority. Strictly no exceptions. Thank you for helping us adhere to these new guidelines and doing your part to keep the rooftop a safe and fun space this year.

What happens to my booking if it rains?

If you booked a high-top table, you’re in luck — you’ll have cover from the elements so you can carry on having fun! If you booked an outdoor table, which doesn’t have a roof, you will be allowed to transfer your booking to another date at no extra cost.

Is it free to get in?

Yes! We accept walk-ins but they are subject to availability. To secure a table, we recommend making a reservation — bookings are free and you’ll be asked for card details at checkout but you won’t be charged unless you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, don’t show up for your booking, or are late by more than 30 minutes, in which case you will be charged £5 per person. If the lockdown period is extended, a charge will not be made.
